Margot's Ice Cream Parlor has been open since June 14, 1996 and at the heart of it all is the candy maker herself! She and her mother, Naomi, originally partnered to start a place where Margot could sell her delicious handmade candy. This has developed into the Ice Cream Parlor of today, that includes Lappert's Ice Cream, scoops and specialties, gourmet Lappert's Coffee and espresso, and in-house Kayla's Kandies.
Our mission is helping friends and families alike create sweet memories, one scoop at a time.
Our vision is to provide a memorable, tasteful experience to our customers, whether in our shop or in the comfort of their home, with our gourmet candies, Kayla's Kandies, available to be shipped and to do so in a sustainable manner that minimizes our impact on the environment.
OUR AWARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Knowing that philanthropy is an important part of being involved in your community, Margot and her employees regularly give back and support many groups.
Recognition of that contribution came in 2018 when Margot's Ice Cream Parlor was awarded Business of the Year by the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce.
Margot's Ice Cream Parlor has been a Certified Green Business since July 2019.
